Our Core Values

We acknowledge God’s glory through worship;

We demonstrate love through community

We use the authority of Scripture for equipping each other;

We imitate Jesus Christ in our serving;

We spread unity through missions.

Our Mission

New City Church (Hong Kong) exists to glorify God by making disciples of Christ who are obedient to and participating in the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

New City Church (Hong Kong) is a non-denominational Christian church. We follow Jesus, we teach from the Bible, and we worship God as the creator and ruler of the universe.

Through our relationship with Christ, we are healed, renewed, redeemed, forgiven, transformed and loved. It's our passion to share this faith and hope with the world.

Our Leaders

Dean and Renee have been married for 30 years, and they have two sons. The elder is a recent university graduate working in the U.S., and the younger has nearly finished his high school studies here in Hong Kong. The Jacksons have been in full time ministry for over 20 years.

Before being in full time ministry, Dean started and managed his own business for 10 years, while Renee worked as a computer programmer for a well-known global manufacturing company. After graduating from Bible College about 24 years ago, their heart for missions led them to serve as missionaries first in Belize and then in Costa Rica.

The Jacksons are passionate about seeing people come to know Christ and helping them build lives that are strong, healthy, and vibrant in every area. They love people and have devoted their lives to building relationships with people and God. As a new chapter in their lives, God directed Dean and Renee to move to Hong Kong to start planting churches, and in 2011 they moved here as part of the New City Church plant team.

Our Services

Our services begin at 10am every Sunday with a countdown. At the end of the countdown, we begin by worshipping God through song, testimony, and Scripture. After worship, we will announce upcoming events and important information for guests. Then, we enter a 5-10 minute break which we call Community Time. This may be very different for many people. As Hong Kong is such a busy city, we set aside this time to intentionally get to know new people and build friendships with each other. Yes, a community of loving friendships is THAT important at New City Church! Jesus said it would define his disciples to the world. The sermon will begin after community time, and we usually dismiss after the sermon ends.
